Coaching is about change
It is hard to change our thinking and well ingrained habits but when you come up with clear thinking about what you want, change is possible!
Some key new neuroscience insights are:
- Our brains are different and our thinking most likely to change when our own brain captures an exciting insight that we want to act on
- An insight is fleeting - lasting about 10 seconds - can be extend by paying it more attention
- Sustained action (a few weeks) on a specific goal can hardwire new thinking and habits
